Supperclub Mapleton - Dining Experience
The Supperclub Mapleton Dining Experience is a truly down-to-earth collaboration between exceptional chefs, dedicated regenerative farmers and artists – hosted on veranda tables, overlooking rolling countryside, at Mapleton Public House.
So, here’s the agenda: following your optional Catching a Whiff tour of The Falls Farm (supplier of Mapleton Public House, just down the road), you are invited to a picturesque hinterland pub for an olfactory Sunday lunch with Cameron Mathews (chef) and Lowana Davies (artist) – a fully-curated, unique art and food experience, guiding the journey from farm to plate.
Discover a dialogue between the processes of regenerative farming, art making, and food design – partaking in feasting and food conversations aplenty. With a full stomach, the long table supper will be followed by a performance from Gabriella Cohen. The perfect end to a belly-full day of art, food, and new experiences.

Lowana Davies
Lowana’s work examines how climate change reshapes sensory experiences, particularly the smellscape – the olfactory essence of landscapes. She explores how these shifts impact place, memory, and multispecies relationships through smellwalking, odour-wheels, fragrance-making, collaboration, writing, and performance.
As an olfactory, performance, and installation artist, her research-driven, site-responsive practice engages multispecies justice through intersectional feminist, queer, and pro-Indigenous perspectives. Her work has been presented in Australia, New Zealand, China, and Japan. She holds a Bachelor of Digital Media (QCA, Griffith University) and a Master of Philosophy in Creative Practice (QUT). She has created works for Festival 2018, HOTA, and Splendour in the Grass.
Cameron Matthews
A Churchill Fellow, Matthews influences the culinary world as a judge, presenter, and advocate for local food and sustainable practices. His passion for the craft and local seasonal produce define his ever-evolving dining experiences.
Gabriella Cohen
Known for her magnetic performances, off-hand charm, and pop sensibilities Gabriella Cohen weaves earnest, yet tongue-in-cheek, music peppered with the sweet sounds of 60’s girl groups. Channelling the sounds of the Beach Boys, Carol King and The Beatles, Gabriella is a unique and eclectic songwriter with infectious melodies to boot.
Kate Anderson
Kate studied Drama at QUT’s Creative Industries before spending 11 years in Sydney working in production across commercial TV and musical theatre. Returning to Queensland to be closer to family, she brought her passion for event
