BOH! Sub_Culture
BOH! Sub_Culture is a new audio-visual installation work by Basket of Hammers, which helps music and art lovers to discover new musicians, spaces, and experiences so they can identify the richness and importance of local subcultures.
This project shines a light on the often-unseen world of underground and experimental artists and musicians from the Sunshine Coast — inviting audiences to experience creativity in unexpected and inspiring ways.
By showcasing bold and original voices, BOH! Sub_Culture opens a dialogue about the beauty and diversity of artistic expression, leaving a lasting mark on the community’s cultural fabric.
About the Creative Team
Basket Of Hammers
Basket of Hammers is an Irish creative project now based on Kabi Kabi/Jinibara Country. After living in different parts of the world and struggling to find a foothold back in Ireland, they landed on the Sunshine Coast and are grateful to call it home. The move brought stability for their family and the chance to be part of a thriving creative community. They feel a deep connection to the land and its stories and are honoured to contribute to its ever-evolving cultural landscape.
