Your invitation to volunteer at Horizon
MyImpactPage - Volunteer ApplicationFrom 1–10 May 2026, the Sunshine Coast becomes a canvas for bold ideas and unforgettable experiences as Horizon Festival returns for its tenth edition.
Horizon is inviting people from across the Sunshine Coast community to take part as volunteers and help bring the Festival to life. The program is seeking arts‑curious participants and creative champions to support the delivery of Horizon – from invigilating exhibitions and assisting audiences to have outstanding experiences, to supporting festival artists as they shine on stage.
Those interested are invited to register their interest via the Better Impact website – the Sunshine Coast Council's volunteer management portal.
Key dates and activities for Horizon Volunteers:
- Friday 10 April: Expressions of interest open until midnight 10 April 2026.
- Wednesday 16 April at 6.30pm: Training and inductions session. If you need to make an alternative time, please contact us.
- Friday 1 May-Sunday 10 May: Horizon Festival live dates!
- Shifts are available all day and into many evenings.
- Traveling around the Coast at your own expense is required.
- Access to Horizon Festival shows subject to availability.
