Nambour Day Out is your invitation to experience the town like never before, where the streets and unexpected corners come alive with performance, music and art. It’s a celebration of place, community and creativity, transforming the everyday into something extraordinary.

Wander through pop-up performances, discover local makers and follow the rhythm as the town unfolds around you. From spontaneous moments to carefully curated works, every turn offers something new.

Bring your friends, bring the family, and spend the day immersed in the energy of Nambour, this is Horizon at its most vibrant, playful and connected.

Namba Artist Market

A vibrant celebration of local creativity in the heart of Nambour. Hosted by local favourite Bad Habit Records, this eclectic marketplace transforms the Old Ambo and spills into the street with stalls filled with handmade art, vinyl, ceramics, textiles and one-of-a-kind treasures by Sunshine Coast makers. Stay a little longer and experience the full Namba Day Out, with live poetry at Namba Narrates and the Namba Concrete Canvas street art tour rounding out a day rich with rhythm, colour and connection.

Namba Concrete Canvas

Invites you to uncover the hidden layers of Nambour’s street art scene on a guided tour led by local artist Ben Hines, aka Humble Dumpling. Journey through laneways and unexpected corners as stories of subculture, history and creativity come to life through bold murals and urban expression. Featuring live art moments, a pop-up performance by Sunshine Troupe, and a curious stop at the mysterious VENDOZA, this immersive experience blends art, storytelling and discovery, offering a fresh perspective on the town’s creative pulse.

Namba Narrates

Brings the energy of spoken word to Nambour, closing out a day of creativity with a powerful poetry showcase on the Ramp Stage. Featuring around 15 diverse voices, including Devi Telfer, Laurita Gorman and Ben Burns, this dynamic gathering invites audiences to listen, reflect and connect through storytelling. Raw, expressive and deeply human, Namba Narrates is where local voices take centre stage, an intimate and inspiring finale to a day immersed in art, music and community.
