Contemporary Performance
Step into bold, thought-provoking works that blur the lines between dance, theatre and live art. This year’s program features immersive and genre-defying experiences including The Butterfly Who Flew Into The Rave, a double bill of Kuramanunya and Exoticism, and the gig-theatre work HELIOS. Each performance challenges form and expectation, creating powerful, sensory-rich encounters that linger long after the final moment.

M'ap Boulé
Consummate storyteller Nancy Denis sets the stage ablaze in her spicy original performance work, M'ap Boulé – Haitian Creole for “I’m on fire” – an intoxicating fusion of ritual, rhythm and revolution.
When: Sat 2 May, 7:30PM–9PM & Sun 3 May, 7PM–8:30PM
Location: The Old Ambulance Station, Nambour

HELIOS
A story about the son of the god of the sun, Helios transplants the Ancient Greek tale into a modern-day myth wound round the winding roads of rural England, and into the everyday living of a towering city.
