11 Dec: Liquid Lyrics Poetry Slam Grand Final
Join one of the Coast's wordy, worldly and worthy spoken word events for their 2019 grand final. Poet's, story tellers, freestyle rappers and singers compete for the top spot - $10 on the door gets you in on the action.

11 Dec: Festival of Small Halls - Cooroy
Australia's largest dedicated regional music tour, Festival of Small Halls, has announced its 2019 Summer Tour, featuring award-winning English singer-songwriter Blair Dunlop and famed high-energy Queensland duo, Hat Fitz and Cara. 

13 Dec: Toxic Fox 'White Jail' Christmas Party at Solbar
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, 5 piece Indie-rockers Toxic Fox mix elements of surf rock with psychedelic groove and catchy songwriting. After years of performing live, Toxic Fox have transformed from a teenage surf act to a matured live band. With catchy lyrics, funky bass lines and energetic guitar solos, Toxic Fox have drawn inspiration from classic artists such as U2, Sticky Fingers and Pond, with their sound showcased live as well as on their Debut EP ‘White Jail’ released October 16. Don't miss this huge lineup, supported by The Moving Stills, Kava Kings and Captain Squidlicker & The Sinking Ships.

Head down to Solbar for their Saturday arvo showcase of some of their favourite up ‘n’ coming musos. Folk, indie, blues, you name it - they’ve scoured the airwaves, internet and touring schedules to unearth the best hidden gems, the ones-to-watch, and brought them to the Solbar Lounge for us all to enjoy & escape the heat with a few beverages and some tunes.

14 Dec: Alisha Todd at Foxy on Coolum
Alisha Todd is returning to Foxy On Coolum to celebrate the release of her new single, 'Chaos'! Foxy was one of the first venues to house Alisha and her music upon her return to Australia 2 years ago and no doubt the room will be warm with the smiley faces and free spirits from this part of the coastline. 15 Dec: Sunshine Coast Vinyl Sale
Wax Espresso is proud to present the next instalment of the Sunshine Coast Record Fair. There will be over 20 tables of music for sale! That’s around 10,000 records, CD’s and cassettes from a heap of stall holders for sale from as little as $1 each. There will be anything and everything from ABBA to ZZ TOP and every genre, you’re sure to find something awesome! All of the regular locals will be in attendance with a heap of fresh stock as well as Mark from the Goldy with his massive array of stock.

21 Dec: Locale Noosa - Lunch on the Water Takeover
Hot on the heels of their first Lunch on the Water takeover, Catalina are pleased to announce their second event hosting none other than Locale Noosa. Locale Noosa have prepared an exceptional light and fresh Italian summer menu and we've put together a selection of fun local and international wines, craft beer and cider to wash it down and get you dancing.
