26 Dec: Boxing Day Soiree on the M.V. Catalina
Catalina's Boxing Day Soiree is back, this time with local legends Sevader. The boys have had an incredible year working with the likes of DOORLY (UK), Dena Amy (SYD) and creating remixes for Cassian, PoolClvb and more recently busting into the Top 20 of the Triple J Unearthed charts with a remix of Rufus Du Sol's 'New Sky'. What more do you need? Come dance off that ham!!

27 Dec - 1 Jan: Woodford Folk Festival
The Woodford Folk Festival, an event of international standing, is held annually over six days and six nights from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2000 performers and 438 events are programmed featuring local, national and international guests. This year's festival 19/20 will be the 34th festival the 27th at Woodfordia.
28 Dec: Saturday Arvo Songwriter Sessions at Solbar

Folk, indie, blues, you name it - they’ve scoured the airwaves, internet and touring schedules to unearth the best hidden gems, the ones-to-watch, and brought them to the Solbar Lounge for us all to enjoy & escape the heat with a few beverages and some tunes.

The Sunshine Coast is the place to be this New Year’s Eve with a feast of family-friendly entertainment on offer at the region’s biggest end-of-year free event, New Year’s Eve Mooloolaba. The music line-up includes Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe, Karlou, Anna & Jordan, Mo' Swagger, Mufassa & The Pride, DJ Tim Torque + DJ Sean Bannister. Plus a whole heaps of kids entertainment, food trucks and of course the fireworks!

4 Jan: Songwriting Workshop
The Australian Music Conservatory are hosting a workshop in their rainforest studio, for budding songwriters to enhance their skills. There will be opportunities to work one on one with their director Melissa, as well as insight into how to get your songs copywrited, start the recording process and expand your brand. This is a perfect refresher for music teachers or students of any age who want to express themselves through song.
4 Jan: Coolum Flicks in the Park
Coolum Business & Tourism is proud to bring Coolum another screening of Flicks in the Park with 'The Greatest Showman.' Bring along a rug and enjoy a movie under the stars with your family and friends in Tickle Park, Coolum. Screening commences at 6.30pm.
