Let’s Organise Your Leisure: Float-Off Finale

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Watch a floatilla of sculptural artworks glide through the foreshore waters of the Maroochydore River as the finale event of Let’s Organise Your Leisure, by Kathy Mackey.

Participants of Let’s Organise Your Leisure will enter the water with their project creations and swim with them in a vista of colour, abstract form, and laughter.

Let’s Organise Your Leisure is a site-specific workshop project, which will take place on Saturday 2nd September. If you are interested in taking part in the making of the artworks for the Float-Off Finale, make sure you book in.

This work is in a public space. Please feel welcome to visit the work for as little or long as you like, to make noise, move around the space how you are most comfortable and to consume food and beverages. We recommend bringing ear defenders if you prefer a quieter environment.
