A Choral Workshop

Oriana Arts Inc. is hosting their second annual choral singing workshop, A Weekend with Graham Abbott.

Graham Abbott has been Conductor-in-Residence at the Elder Conservatorium of Music Adelaide, Musical Director of Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus, Associate Conductor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Musical Director of Melbourne Chorale, and Guest Chorus Master for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

A respected music educator, Graham was producer and presenter of the highly successful Keys To Music series on ABC Classic FM from 2003 – 2017.

Music to be workshopped includes choruses from Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Elijah.

Community concert

A ticketed community concert will be held at the end of the workshop on Sunday 27 August to showcase the weekend’s efforts. If you’re unable to make it for the workshop, please join us for this performance instead.

  • Group discounts apply, so choirs and ensembles are encouraged to gather their members for a memorable weekend of singing.
