Live music
See the multiple award-winning songwriter Danny Widdicombe return to his folk and country roots following the release of his critically acclaimed album in collaboration with Trichotomy.
Danny’s new album, Everything is New Again, was recorded with The Wand’rin’ Stars, featuring Michel Rose on pedal steel, Luke ‘Fiddleboy’ Moller on fiddle, Brendan St Ledger on piano, Gus Fenwick on bass, and Doug Gallacher. With members having supported the likes of Slim Dusty, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley and more, plus creating songs that pay homage to the great Willie Nelson, the band's sound is at once familiar, fresh and full of soul.
Danny Widdicombe & The Wand’rin’ Stars' music captures a rare sense of spontaneity and musical connection — band members play the songs live in a circle, responding in real time. That same energy comes alive on stage, offering audiences a chance to experience this exciting new band as they share their songs and stories.
This event takes place at The Metropolitan (The MET), an outdoor stage located in the central hub for events and activations within the Maroochydore City Centre.
