Event details
The Umbilical Brothers bring their singular blend of physical invention, vocal wizardry and comic precision to the Sunshine Coast, distilling decades of internationally acclaimed performance into a show that defies category.
David Collins and Shane Dundas have built a global following through their boundary‑bending approach to comedy, appearing on major late‑night stages including Letterman, The Tonight Show and Stephen Colbert, performing at Woodstock ’99, and entertaining audiences ranging from stadium crowds with Robin Williams to those inside the Sydney Opera House. Their work has travelled through 38 countries, including a year‑long off‑Broadway season recognised with a New York Drama Desk nomination.
In Australia, their creative impact has been acknowledged with a Helpmann Award for Comedy Performance of the Year, while their Edinburgh Fringe seasons earned the Edinburgh Critics’ Choice Award. Audiences of all ages may also recognise their Emmy and Logie‑winning series The Upside Down Show, created with Sesame Workshop.
This performance offers a chance to witness two artists at the height of their craft.
