Caloundra Regional Gallery
Visit the Local Contemporary Art Prize 2026 Finalists Exhibition at the leading gallery in the region – a showcase of the Sunshine Coast’s vibrant visual arts scene. Now in its twelfth year, this much-loved prize honours the diversity of artistic voices across the region, inviting works in every medium from painting and sculpture to innovative contemporary forms.
Forty finalists will be selected for exhibition at Caloundra Regional Gallery, with winners sharing in $17,000 prize money thanks to the generosity of supporters and sponsors including Sunshine Coast Council, Friends of the Gallery and Caloundra Bendigo Bank. This is a celebration of place, talent and imagination – an opportunity to experience the art shaping the Sunshine Coast today.
This is an indoor visual art exhibition.
Audience members can choose the duration of their experience, we suggest allowing 30 – 45 minutes.
There is limited seating within the gallery.
Refreshments are available nearby.
This experience is suitable for all ages and abilities - it is inspirational, insightful and culturally significant.
