The Outhouse

The Outhouse will take you on an interactive journey into the ridiculous and sublime.

Meet Hope and Luna.  Two clowns launching into outer space in their outhouse rocket to give planet earth the rest and rejuvenation she needs.  This two-woman physical comedy for all ages combines clown, shadow puppetry and animation to create an experience that will touch your heart and make your spirits soar.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Phoebe Manning and Sarah Whitehead are physical theatre performers based in Meanjin. They are passionate about creating multi-disciplinary, accessible work that builds community and fosters connection.

This venue is accessible to people who use wheelchairs. Seating for people who use wheelchairs will be clearly marked.

Accessible bathrooms are available on site within the Wonderland Spiegeltent Festival Hub garden.

Accessible car parks are available at the northern end of the carpark adjacent to The Wonderland Spiegeltent.

Level Access
Entry to The Wonderland Spiegeltent, and all seating, is via level access.

Gender-Neutral Bathrooms
All Festival Hub garden bathrooms are gender-neutral.

Parking
There are various public carparks and plenty of street parking in and around Cotton Tree Park, where The Wonderland Spiegeltent is located. We encourage you to check the parking signs for timed carparks and bays.

Public Transport
The Wonderland Spiegeltent is centrally located in Cotton Tree and easily accessible via public transport. Visit the Translink website to plan your journey.

Low Lighting
This venue will feature low lighting throughout the show as it contains shadow puppetry. A level of lighting will be provided to assist in moving around the space safely.
