BUNKER DOWN, SPEAK OUT - ARIELLE COTTINGHAM (VIC)

The Bunker Collective and Horizon Festival present Afro-Latina poet, performance artist, and dancer Arielle Cottingham for the second event in the Bunker Down, Speak Out series.

Arielle absconded to Australia in 2015 with one suitcase and her mother’s miniature coffee maker. She won the Australian Poetry Slam in 2016, and she has toured through the US, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia ever since. Her work has appeared in BOOTH, The Red Corner Audio Journal, About Place Journal, and Pressure Gauge Press, and her collection Black and Ropy was published by Pitt Street Poetry in 2017.

Come along and see Arielle Cottingham take the stage alongside our home-grown local spoken word talent.
