Now - 24 Apr: Myall Creek and beyond @ USC Gallery (Sippy Downs)
A significant exhibition exploring the history and site of the 1838 Myall Creek Massacre through the work of some of Australia’s leading indigenous artists. 

1 - 5 Apr: Solbar's Birthday Bender (Maroochydore)
To celebrate 10-years of beers, and damn good times, Solbar are putting on a 3-day event full of some of their favourite artists from 2011-now. Featuring: Hope D, The Dreggs, Tay Oskee, Bearfoot, Dorah Jacson, Shen Panthers, and plenty more!

Thu 1 Apr: Glass House Mountains — Paint & Sip (Caloundra)
Join The Art Hub Sunshine Coast for an evening of painting and creating, while sipping on your favourite drink. (BYO.)

2 – 4 Apr: Coolum Art Collective Easter Exhibition (Coolum)
Coolum Art Collective, is presenting a 3-day exhibition featuring art and craft works from some of the Sunshine Coast's leading artists and artisans.

Sun 4 Apr: Jazz in the forest (Maleny)
Come along to Spicers Tamarind Retreat and listen to the smooth sounds of jazz in their rainforest fringed Maleny oasis.

Mon 5 Apr: Eco Resin Botanical Bangle or Cuff Workshop (Maroochydore)
Come down and make your own eco resin bangle. You’ll be able to select your own botanicals to use, work out a design, and pour the resin yourself. Your piece will then be professionally finished by Nina, from ResArtDesigns, to give it a professional finish.

Tue 6 Apr: Family Paint - Gerald Giraffe (Caloundra)
Grab the family and head down to The Art Hub Sunshine Coast for some creative fun! All art materials are supplied, including a 40cm x 50cm canvas for you to take home — no experience is necessary.

Tue 6 Apr: Clay Play - Kid's Introduction to Wheel Throwing (Cooroy)
(Here's another one for parents on school holidays.) This fun ceramic workshop will introduce your kids to the wonderful world of ceramics, with a focus on Wheel Throwing. Clay and tools will be provided, and they'll go home with their creation!

Sat 10 Apr: Noosa Laneway Party feat. Jordan Brando (Noosa)
After nearly two years hibernating, Noosa Laneway Party is back! Featuring, Jordan Brando, Paluma, Untold, Julian Wood, and Chunky. There will be beers from Boiling Pot Brewing, Somedays Pizza, and ginger beer & Spritz from Diablo Co.

Sat 10 Apr: Reduction Linocut Art Workshop (Maleny)
This two-day workshop will take you through different ways of applying colour to your lino prints. You will learn about preparing your image and block(s), registration, and hand-printing on quality printmaking paper with a baren.

Sat 10 Apr: Ruth Horton WORKSHOP - Wild Life Art (Cooroy)
Participants will create artwork that references the current exhibition, focusing on Australian wildlife. Paper, charcoal and ink will be provided with artists encouraged to bring their own toolbox.​

Sun 11 Apr: BYO Furniture Painting Workshop (Warana)
 Learn the basics of furniture painting — from preparation, through to painting and finishing — in this 4 hour workshop. All paint and equipment will be supplied to complete your piece on the day.

Sun 11 Apr: Cotton Tree Jazz Sessions (Cotton Tree)
Bring a picnic and some friends for an afternoon of jazz under the cotton trees, down by the Maroochy river. Featuring The Jazz Factory.

Sun 11 Apr: Youturn It Up! at NightQuarter (Birtinya)
Youturn It Up! is the brainchild of Sunshine Coast Musicians (and brothers), Sam and Tim Aitken – also known as Sametime. Having recently become Ambassadors for Youturn Youth Support — a local charity that provides all kinds of support for at-risk youth on the Coast — the boys have decided to raise awareness, and some money for the initiative.

It's been a while but DickLord are heading back to Solbar! Brace yourself for some fast, Aussie punk rock —they will make you laugh and fire-up simultaneously!
