Mon 23 Nov - Thur 10 Dec: One Sixth Accord | Group exhibition
Cool Art Picture Framing Gallery is humbled to present; One Sixth Accord, a group exhibition of new and recent works by Rex Backhaus-Smith, Dennis Forshaw, David Green, Ted Moran, Bob Smith and Peter Sunaklis. Each of the selected artists have sustained full time arts careers that span a number of decades. With wide-ranging subject and inspiration; from the the Australian landscape and fauna, transformation and unique glazing processes, Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations", life drawing, to metallurgy and kinetics. Across their many chosen mediums of masterful water-colour, ceramics, old fashioned dip pen and ink drawings, pastels, and sculptures, we are elated to share their works in this stunning group exhibition.

Wed 25 Nov: Intuitive Art Explorers
Art Explorers is a weekly art class for children, hosted by Chony a QCT registered Visual Arts Teacher. Intuitive, artistic self expression benefits the 'whole' child, supporting curiosity, creative & innovative thinking and communication. Especially when the child is encouraged and nurtured to free flow with their creativity.

You don’t want to miss out on everything Yonder 2020 has to offer, where we will reach higher heights, see spectacular and eclectic sets and blossom in our positive, supportive, and inclusive community. 

Thur 26 Nov: Lakeside Watercolour at Thrills Espresso
Connecting the community in such a beautiful location. Collaborating with the guys and girls at Kite Thrills Espresso Currimundi, I’m going to be holding a compact watercolour workshop celebrating our freedom to be outside and connect with each other. We have stunning inspiration all around and I’ll guide you in how to create this beautiful little frangipani and a quick and simple way. With a refreshing drink, all materials provided and the best company to boot.

Fri 27 Nov: Rainbow Daze Art Exhibition
Sunshine Coast artist Erin Bacchi has been spreading positivity through her collection of uplifting and vibrant paintings. She works under her brand Plantiful Life of Erin, inspired by her love of plants, nature and coastal living.  Come along to the Rainbow Daze Art Exhibition by Plantiful Life of Erin. The exhibition will showcase the 5 original pieces from the Rainbow Daze Collection along with a variety of original artworks.

After a run of infectious singles released over the past 12 months, Ivey have just announced their new EP love + miscellanea out October 23 via Mirror Records. The band are also extremely thrilled to be announcing a run of headline shows across South East Queensland including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and their hometown of the Gold Coast.

A contemporary outdoor theatre performance that will delve into the world of connections and disconnections, light and darkness, where human reality is virtualised and virtual reality humanised. Mixing physical theatre, dance, philosophy, literature, music, digital media, the show will take you for a walk into a world of split, parallel identities, where body and place are abandoned for beings of light and words to be created. Our self-esteem boosted by a few clicks, our lives enlightened by screens of light. Our identity and living space reshaped to create connections – or disconnections.

Fri 27 Nov - Sun 29 Nov: NightQuarter
Innovative eats, immersive experiences, live music, experiential artists and local culture. An ever-evolving festival of flavour and sound in a shipping container playground, this is your new weekend destination. A smorgasbord of food, amusements, stalls, live music, immersive performances, community activations and experiential spaces. Built from upcycled shipping containers and disused materials, it is home to 40 local makers with global street food eats, desserts and market stalls. It features experiential bars, vintage amusements, a street art gallery, RepairLab and four stages of live music and experiential performances.

Sat 28 Nov: CoVibes 4 Emily Wurramara + Volcanic Lovers + Jem Cassar-Daley
After the success of CoVibes 1, 2 & 3 we are excited to announce CoVibes 4! We are thrilled to be able to bring you the incredible Emily Wurramara sharing the stage with another two amazing acts, Volcanic Lovers and Jem Cassar-Daley. CoVibes is all about bringing the live music back in intimate, seated event held in our beautiful Brewery room in a Covid-safe environment.

Sun 29 Nov: StrEATside at The Met
A new weekly street food market in the heart of the new Maroochydore City Centre, every Sunday 11am-8pm. Enjoy delicious food from 20 street food vendors, sip on craft beer and cocktails (from Your Mates Brewing Co.) and wine, watch 6 hours of live music, play lawn games and relax under the shade of umbrellas in a family-friendly atmosphere. Like a Sunday ‘picnic in the park’ … but you don’t have to bring anything!

Sun 29 Nov: Australian Native Lazer Earring Workshop
Celebrating nature through creating wearable art, has been a strong theme in this signature earring making workshop.Create beautiful Australian native flora earrings made from laser cut acrylic and wood, customized by workshop participants with paint, chain, and metal findings. Illustrations hand drawn by Brisbane based makers Lazer Unicorn.

Sun 29 Nov: Alex James Bowen 'Be Here' Single Launch at Solbar
With his delicate soul and powerful pop sensibility, Alex James Bowen graces us with his music again after a 5 year hiatus. He resurfaced with his soul bearing single “I Believed In Us”, planting a very strong release for the Byron Bay based Singer Songwriter, putting him in the sonic vein of Noah Kahan, James Bay and JP Saxe. In light of his next single ‘Be Here’, Alex invites you to a night of new music, stories, good friends and good vibes.
