17 Mar: Banksy & The Rise Of Outlaw Art
Arguably the most controversial street artist in the world, Banksy has developed an entire art subculture devoted to his works. His political art, criminal stunts, and daring invasions have outraged the establishment and created a revolutionary new movement, yet his identity still remains shrouded in mystery. Featuring interviews with Ben Eine (world-famous artist), Steve Lazarides (Banksy’s former right-hand man), John Nation (graffiti pioneer), Felix 'FLX' Braun (author & artist), Risk (renowned street artist), Ket (author & artist), Scape (author & artist), Will Ellsworth-Jones (Banksy biographer), Richard Jones (author & publisher), Simon Reynolds (pop-culture author) and Claire De Dobay Rifelj (art historian), and directed by Elio Espana and produced by Elio Espana, Tom O’Dell.

Featuring all new films, this carefully curated selection of short films document the beauty and power of the ocean, and celebrate the divers, surfers, swimmers and oceanographers who live for the sea’s salt spray; who chase the crests of waves; and who marvel at the mysteries of the big blue.

21 Mar: The Grogans at Solbar
Melbourne’s Garage/Surf trio, The Grogans, are heading back up North this March for three shows in Brisbane, Byron Bay and Sunshine Coast. This show follows the bands recent sold out shows at Howler, Wrangler and Cherry Bar to Cap 2019 and two sold-out Gasometers to kick off 2020. 23 Mar: Beer Yoga at Your Mates Brewery
The hour-long session will see punters getting bendy, with beer-drinking incorporated into each classic yoga pose. Think sun salutations and reverse warriors, interspersed with sips of your favourite ale. Brydie O’Halloran from Younion Yoga, a qualified vinyasa yoga instructor (and seasoned beer drinker) will get you loose, limber, and having fun — whether you're a total yoga novice, or a well-practiced pro.
24 Mar: Heirlooms of the Future: Making ceramic photo tiles workshop
Join exhibiting artist Johanna DeMaine in her home studio and delve into the realm of one of her favourite design techniques: making and firing photographic decals. Learn how to render your own photos ready for printing and adhere them onto commercial ceramic tiles in preparation to be fired and creating a permanent ceramic photo. No prior ceramic skill needed.

The Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance are holding a monthly meet-up for the Coast's young creatives. Artists, arts workers, writers, graphic designers, musicians, business owners, however you define yourself creatively – this is a space for you to meet other like-minded creatives, build community and have good chats.
