Digital Marketing Assistant - Paid Internship

Do you think on your feet? Have a knack for creative problem-solving? Are you passionate about cultivating ideas, art and culture?

The Horizon Festival team are calling on all aspiring marketing and PR gurus, social media experts, arts administrators and digital marketing stars to put forward their interest in joining the team as an intern to support and further develop the state of the arts in our region, while you gain valuable experience.

Duties you will assist with include:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager & Digital Content Coordinator to develop digital marketing plans for Horizon Festival and individual festival events

  • Monitor and manage Horizon Festival social channels

  • Create engaging content for sharing on digital channels

  • Create and distribute eDMs

  • Liaise with the Marketing team to coordinate aspects of a digitally-lead festival events

  • Assist with arrangements for photographers and videographers to access events

  • Assist with reporting and debriefs

  • Any other duties as required by a busy hands-on arts organisation
